More pics, obviously! July 21, 2009
Another quick round up of pictures, along with the story of last nights ER-vet visit….!
You know how I always say that Grabbity is in the middle of any trouble? That Emo will be by her side, but not actually doing the ‘bad’ thing? Yeah… She limped into bed last night, about 9, all shaking and wailing… It was obvious that she’d done something to her back right leg, though she let us move it, prod it a bit, so we were pretty sure it was just a sprain, but she was obviously in shock and pain. A quick call to the emergency vets and they told us to give her 30 mins, see how she was, and bring her in if we were still worried… Obviously we were still worried (paranoid parents,us??), so off we all (4 of us, plus cat) trotted!
Turns out it is likely to be just a sprain, but she got some pain meds shot into her (by the nice, and hot, vet!) and we’re to take her back if we’re worried.
Today she’s been climbing, wrestling, eating, purring, everything she was doing before (including getting into precarious places…!). The cutest bit of this has been the other kittens though, they’ve all been really quite sweet with her, playing much more gently than they normally would, and they’ve been cleaning her lots… Emo’s taken to sleeping next to her…
Our wedding anniverary/reception was last weekend, so we had some visitors over. One of those, James, took the following pictures of the kitties!
Bob July 2, 2009
Bob is “the other girl” (the three being made up with Davina, Grabbity and now Bob), her name’s a reference to Blackadder (BBC comedy, an AWESOME BBC comedy!), and is short for Kate
She’s quite quiet, is happy to come for cuddles, but tends to keep out of trouble too much…
Grabbity June 30, 2009
Aside from being 1 of the 4 that have been actually named, Grabbity seems to be the cheekiest… if one of them is climbing a pile of papers that’s about to collapse, it’ll be Grabbity.. If there’s a sudden ARGH from me/Owe as our leg gets climbed, it’ll either be Grabbity or Monsieur! One awake that tries to wake the others? That’ll be Grabbity…
So, that and the fact that I’m sure he mum-to-be will appreciate it, here’s a Grabbity round up!
Another pic round up (part I) June 24, 2009

Another mass of pics June 12, 2009
They’respending much more time out of hte box these days, so I’m trying to keep here updated with fresh pics so you can get your fix inbetween their nap time!
The ‘new layout’ can been seen on Flickr, along with notes, and you’ll see how little the cam now actually covers!!
Anyway, KittenLand had to be created sooner or later, we knew they’d be work out how to get out of the box/boxes soon.. and yeah, they did!
The latest amusing thing is that as soon as anyone enters ‘their’ area, there’s suddenly a mass of kittens on you… as seen below! (with DH/Owen; ignore the milky footprints all over the place… the milk on the cushion.. you get the idea!)
and with Dave/Deev/Housegeek
And now, lots of individual pics, finally!
and finally, lapping!!
and Dave, covered in kittens…
Day 26 June 9, 2009
A few pictures (I’ll blog some new videos later too)
Firstly, a few of Sookie, without the kittens!
Getting ‘loves’ from a slightly tipsy Dave/Deev/Housegeek
More snuggles, but kitten this time
Emo-kitty tries to escape!
Davina discovers the wonders of lapping!
They’re growing at an astonishing rate, I’ve now added together the 2 initial boxes to make super-kitty-enclosure!
If you look carefully you can see KittenDaddy in the garden… Just at the top of the middle-2nd-from-bottom pane of glass
KittenDaddy keeps sneaking into the garden, and Sookie sits at the back door mewing at me to let her get to him! (fat chance!! EIGHT KITTENS!) He obviously knows he’s not welcome, because he shoots off the moment any of us arrive, but I managed to sneak a couple of pictures of him today, just wish I had better zoom!!
Final pic for the day, Sookie doesn’t really drink, certainly not from any dish we give her, even if it’s fresh every day! She’ll drink from a running tap, and has recently tried sneaking water from our cups/glasses, so I’ve started leaving a cup of water on the table, specifically for her, and it’s worked! WOOT!
